Thursday Tremont Food Tour, Pt. 1
Join us for Happy Hour at Fahrenheit in Tremont beginning at 5pm on Thursday August 4. Chef Rocco Whelan will serve up some special nibbles to start our evening. Your ticket includes food, and tax and gratuity for food; drinks are on your own check.

Part 2 of our Tremont food tour takes us to Michael Symon's Lolita. Chef and Manager Matty "Chaty" Harlan will be our host for some of Chef Symon's unique pizza's and small plate selections. Your ticket includes food, and tax and gratuity on food. Beverages will be on separate checks.

Thursday Tremont Food Tour, P. 3
Our final stop in Tremont will be at Restaurant Dante. Chef Dante Bocuzzi made his mark working for Charlie Palmer, learning sushi from Chef Nobu, and running the kitchen at New York City's acclaimed Areole before returning to his native Cleveland to open his namesake restaurant. Chef Dante will present the final savory courses, and a sweet finish to our evening in Tremont.

The Feast
We will assemble at The Chubby Cook in Beachwood Ohio to prepare and enjoy our own Feast on Saturday August 6 beginning at 1pm. Your $30 will pay for food, drink and some culinary rental items. You may pay at the door in cash or on Eventbrite using your credit card.

Event Details

Join us in Cleveland for the 2011 Heartland Gathering of the EGullet Society. 

Our party begins with a food tour of Tremont, one of Cleveland's hottest culinary destinations. Happy Hour at Fahrenheit will be followed by a two part dinner at Michael Symon's Lolita and Restaurant Dante across the street.

Friday's itinerary will include lunch and a meet and greet with Food Network's Great Food Truck Race 2 finalist (and possible winner) Chris Hodgson of Dim and Den Sum and Hodge Podge Food Truck. We will also visit with Chef Steve Schimoler and review the renovation of an historic bank building in Ohio City into the new Crop Bistro. 

Friday's Happy Hour will be at the one and only Velvet Tango Room, to be followed by dinner at Jonathon Sawyer's Greenhouse Tavern. 

Saturday, we will shop at the North Union Farmer's Market and the West Side Market, then adjourn to The Chubby Cook in Beachwood Ohio to prepare and consume our own Heartland Feast.

For our final event on Sunday, Chef Jeff Jarrett will wow us with his garden-inspired culinary creations at AMP 150. 

To any attendee who would like to continue the fun into the Sunday dinner hour (be you long distance or local attendees) - please contact the Host and we help to arrange for a venue that makes sense for the number of people involved.
