PUBLIC SERVICE CAREER AND INTERNSHIP FAIR
July 14, 2010
3:00-7:00 p.m.
National Building Museum
Washington, D.C.

 The Partnership for Public Service will host its eighth annual Public Service Career and Internship Fair on July 14 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the National Building Museum. Last year’s event connected 78 federal agencies with more than 6,000 students and jobseekers. After participating in this event, 97 percent of agency representatives noted that they were pleased with the number and caliber of participants.

This fair is dedicated to providing summer interns in Washington, DC, students–both graduate and undergraduate, and recent graduates with access to agency representatives, and information about their agencies’ missions and available positions. By facilitating conversations between federal workers and promising young people, we hope to encourage entry-level talent to bring their skills and experiences to the government as dynamic federal employees.

HOW WILL YOUR AGENCY BENEFIT?
By registering for the country’s largest federal career fair, your agency will:
• Meet and interact with well-qualified and diverse candidates who are excited about interning or working full-time for the federal government; and
• Showcase its work in front of thousands of students and jobseekers.

REGISTER BY MAY 31 FOR A DISCOUNT!
Registration for the 2010 Public Service Career and Internship Fair is open until July 1. However, if you register before May 31, you will receive a $150.00 discount.

This year’s standard registration package includes:
• One six-foot table and three chairs;
• Lunch and refreshments for agency representatives;
• Access to an online agency toolkit; and
• Three registrations for an agency workshop on innovative recruiting jointly sponsored by the Office of Personnel Management and the Partnership for Public Service.

AGENCIES, OFFICES AND SUBCOMPONENTS: REGISTER TOGETHER AND SAVE!
Agencies that coordinate the participation of several offices or subcomponents will receive a significant discount on registration costs. If you register together before May 31, you will be charged $350.00 for the first office or subcomponent and $150.00 for each additional office or subcomponent. By registering together, agencies taking advantage of this discount will also ensure that their offices and subcomponents are placed next to one another on the day of the event.

Please contact Jennifer Close at jclose@ourpublicservice.org if you are interested in this option.

Once you register, you will receive an event confirmation complete with information about what to bring, as well directions, parking and shipping instructions.
