Event Details

We are pleased to present a series of educational teleconferences on a variety of topics designed to link you with important information about living with lupus. A teleconference is an opportunity to learn new information from the comfort and privacy of home by calling into a designated number to hear an interactive presentation. Each teleconference lasts just one hour and is accessible via a toll-free number. Participate in several calls or just the one that interests you.

 

SEPTEMBER- PAIN MANAGEMENT -

More than 90% of people with lupus will experience joint and or muscle pain related to their lupus. We'll address the management of severe and chronic pain associated with lupus. You will learn about the medications, therapies, andcoping strategies to help manage pain.

NOVEMBER - LUPUS AND THE BRAIN

As many as half of all people with lupus describe feelings of confusion, fatigue, memory loss and difficulty expressing their thoughts. This collection of symptoms is termed cognitive dysfunction, although many people call it lupus fog. We will address symptoms and ways to cope with this pervasive problem.
