20 Years of What Hope Looks Like Celebration & Mural Exhibit
Event Information
Description
Please join us to celebrate 20 years of imagining "What Hope Looks Like" at our annual mural exhibit and fundraiser!
Each summer, Hope House kids head off to summer camp and a chance to spend five days with their fathers behind the walls of prison. They strengthen their relationships, play games, dance and sing, and make beautiful murals depicting their idea of a perfect day if they could be anywhere together. The results are touching, creative and transcendent.
In addition to the exhibited artwork, this year's event will feature:
-
Live music from BG and the Mojo Hands
-
Fantastic silent auction prizes
-
Tasty eats from Well Dunn Catering
Can't make it this year? Don't worry! You can still help through a generous donation. See ticket link for more information.
About Hope House
Hope House began in 1998 providing cutting-edge programs to strengthen families and, in particular, the relational bonds between children and their fathers imprisoned far from home. Our goals include reducing the isolation, stigma, shame and risk these families experience when fathers and husbands are imprisoned, and to raise public awareness about this most at-risk population.
