Event description
An online workshop January 27 and 28, 2022 from 9am-12pm. Improve your ability to resolve conflict and create better communication.

About this event

Join Will Dudenhausen for 2 days of interactive learning on Zoom. Instructions for joining online will be sent to participants following registration. Training will not be recorded.

Acknowledging different perspectives and discovering mutually agreeable solutions to conflicts requires a high level of proficiency in communication and problem solving. When we know how to really hear another person's needs as well as to articulate our own, we can prevent many conflicts. In addition to preventing conflicts, we become skilled at handling conflicts that do arise.  In this workshop, participants will explore the nature of conflict in various settings and recognize the value of good communication skills in applying different approaches to conflict. Participants will engage in various live activities, group discussions, and roleplay scenarios in an online format.

Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills  IS A PRE-REQUISITE For taking "Intro to Mediation Skills."  (TBA)
