CollegeInvest presents 2 free hours of CE on how 529s work in conjunction with many advanced planning methods to solve client problems, along with a complimentary lunch. Lunch will be provided beginning at 11:00am, followed by the CE presentation which will begin at 11:30am and last two hours.
Topics will include, but not limited to:
- Family dynamics and 529 accounts
- Taxable implications of 529s and their intended use
- How 529s impact estate planning and financial aid
- Contributions and withdrawals
Distribution types, account transfers and rollovers, and sample real world scenarios will be discussed.
This course will ensure that financial professionals have the information and understanding needed to engage and educate their clients, given their individual situations.
No prerequisites or advanced preparation are needed, this class is worth two CPE credits. These credits are for CPAs in the tax field of study, for CFPs in Income Tax Planning, for insurance professionals in the field of Life, Accident & Health.
