Join UNC-Chapel Hill alumna and the co-hosts of the 1stGens podcast as they parther with the Black Student Movement (BSM) and the Organization for African Students Interests and Solidarity (OASIS) for an interactive and open panel discussion event to wrap up Black History Month!

Put the African in American is a live 1stGens recording event that will explore the gap between Africans and black Americans and will feature student panelists: Diamonde Henderson, Dominque Brodie, Mina Yakubu and Whitney Kouaho.

This is a free event, but donations are welcomed to fund Bromley Academy--an all-girls school in Liberia, West Africa that was defunded.


Light refreshments will be served.
