A Yonsei Institute for North Korean Studies 20 Year Anniversary Celebration Special Presentation

In honor of the 20 year anniversary of the establishment of YINKS, we are pleased to present the 1st North Korean Review Conference on North Korean Studies. As a leading research institute in the field, we have made a special effort in forming panels of distinguished scholars from around the world to present research on North Korean studies that is aimed at igniting fresh discussion of a country that is consistently one of the most important issues of international politics. We cordially invite all those interested to join us for this undoubtedly informative and insightful event.

Yonsei Institute for North Korean Studies is a not for profit research institute affiliated with Yonsei University.  Founded in 1995, YINKS is dedicated to North Korea related research with specific focus to the problem of re-unification.  Celebrating another year of producing top notch research, YINKS is proud to host this conference on North Korean studies featuring many of the field's top scholars.

Established in 2005 by founding editor Professor Sukhi Kim at the University of Detroit Mercy, North Korean Review is the first academic journal in North America and Europe to focus exclusively on North Korea. Founded by the Institute for North Korean Studies at University of Detroit Mercy in the United States, the purpose of North Korean Review is to provide readers with an improved understanding of the country’s complexities and the threat it presents to global stability.
