Description

**THE TASTE OF THE GFA IS SOLD OUT. PLEASE NOTE THAT TICKETS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR**

The 1st Annual Taste of the GFA is the Good Food Accelerator Associate Board's annual fundraiser to raise funds to support the Accelerator. The event will feature delicious samples from many Good Food Accelerator graduates and their companies.

We are excited that chefs from well-known Chicago restaurants will prepare awesome samples and drinks for the event showcasing ingredients from the Accelerator's companies. The participating restaurants include Billy Sunday, Heritage Restaurant & Caviar Bar, Kimski, and Lula Cafe with more to come!

Adding to the fun, the event will feature a free raffle for multiple 10 pound chocolate bars, courtesy of Chicago's Blommer Chocolate Company.

We would like to particularly thank the event's sponsors, Quarles & Brady LLP, The Boston Consulting Group, Bluestein & Associates, MillerCoors, U.S. Foods, Tenzing Wine & Spirits, Apologue, Germin8, Cleveland Avenue, Bluestein & Associates, Savills Studley, Smoketown Consulting, CBRE, ProTen Realty Group, DSP Insurance, and JPMorgan Chase for their invaluable support without which this event would not be possible.

About the Good Food Accelerator:

The Good Food Accelerator (GFA) gets emerging Good Food consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands ready for prime time, giving them the skills to scale up. Now in its fifth year, this non-profit fellowship program for food entrepreneurs is based at 1871, Chicago’s center of innovation. Fellows are paired with industry-leading mentors and are connected to potential customers and investors. This is the nation’s first accelerator focused on building supply chains for sustainable local food.

The Accelerator helps food entrepreneurs expand the production, marketing and distribution of locally and responsibly produced food, in order to enhance the social, economic and environmental health of our communities. We provide competitively selected fellows with coaching, mentoring, strategic support, and access to resources and capital so they can thrive commercially and have a power ripple effect on the local economy, and beyond.

For questions about the event, sponsorship opportunities, or the Associate Board, please e-mail Adam Falkof at Adam.Falkof@quarles.com.
