TRIBUTE TO THE VOLTAGE BROTHERS

"Electric" is just one way of describing America's #1 show band from Rochester, NY. The Voltage Brothers have traveled the world with the Kool Jazz Festival, and members of the band have appeared with renowned artists including Frank Sinatra, The Temptations, The Commodores, The O'Jays, Kool & The Gang, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and Earth, Wind, & Fire to name a few. The Voltage Brothers have also been selected to perform at nine straight Super Bowls from 1991 to 1999, headline the annual Willie Stargell Foundation Fundraiser since 2015, perform as a special guest artist at the 1993 President's Dinner in Washington, D.C., provide entertainment at the Presidential Inaugurations of 2000, 2004, 2013, and 2017, and perform at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. 

This Tribute band consists of some of the top musicians in Rochester, NY including orginal member, Bruce Pitts on drums. Don't miss this one time event.

Recording Artist Curtis Kendrick

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and formidable bandleader, Curtis Kendrick has established himself as a true musical talent. Kendrick Individually, Curtis has been a support act with his band Cabo Frio for, Kenny G, Spyro Gyra, Joe Sample, Yellow Jackets, Jeff Lorber, Pieces of A Dream, Dave Valentin, Paquito D' Rivera, Cedric Dent of Take 6, Luther Barnes, Phoebe Snow, Joan Jett and The Black hearts, Jazz Crusaders, Lonnie Mack, Fattbuger, Larry Coryell and the late Lou Rawls.

​Curtis is released his Debut Vocal Album entitled, Set The Standard three years ago and hasn't stopped on his new journey. Curtis is singing some favorite jazz standards like, When I Fall In Love, Everything Must Change and many more. This album features some great smooth jazz compositions that Curtis is noted for. Prospects for 2023 and beyond look great for Curtis.

Andy Calabrese Trio

Andy Calabrese, pianist, educator and music producer, plays in the Rochester New York area with his own jazz trio as well as Prime Time Funk and Chet Catallo and the Cats. He's in demand as a sideman as well, having performed with jazz and pop artists such as Chuck Berry, Aretha Franklin, The Cowsills, Maceo Parker, Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley. When he's not gigging, composing or producing, Andy is usually teaching jazz and classical piano lessons at his studio in Pittsford N.Y.

John Parker

John Parker is from Sodus, New York. A blues singer who just came on the scene in 2022. Mr. Parker will be releasing his first single, Step On My Love in 2023. His single is both mighty and funny.

Joshua Smith

Joshua was born in Rochester, New York and his mother Machelle Smith is his biggest fan. At age seven Joshua began taking lessons with National Recording Artist Curtis Kendrick. Josh has performed with Cabo Frio and the Dreamseeds band, a YMCA funded program. In his short time his performance venues include, The Rochester Museum and Science Center, Photo City Music Hall, Michael's Valley Grill and his church twice monthly. Josh is currently preparing for his entrance audition at the School Of The Arts. We see a bright future for this 11 year old talented musician.

John Nyerges with Phil Lake and Geoff Smith

John Nyerges is a jazz pianist and composer based in Rochester, NY. He performs with his own Jazz Quartet/Quintet, is the jazz pianist for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and freelances with the region’s top jazz groups, and artists that come to town. His 2008 CD, Jazz, Pictures and Poems, features his own compositions, with his brother’s photography and his daughter’s poetry.
