Background:

The 1st Annual Dr. John Hart Memorial Classic was created by John's family. This event is meant to be a joyful celebration to share all the fond and funny memories we have of John - without the sorrow we felt in the wake of his death from Alzheimer's Disease.

There will be an 18-hole golf event & indoor bridge tournament that both start at 1PM. There will be a steak dinner to follow approx. 5:30pm (included as part of the $55 registration fee). There will be several door prizes and fun challenges for all participants. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will have indoor events, games, and competitions for the golfers as well!

Shawano Lake Golf Course (Shalagoco) was chosen as the location because it was Dr. Hart's "home course." John participated in regular weekly outings at Shalagoco with his Golf Buddies - and it is also the place where he could be found with his children teaching them the game he loved!

We look forward to seeing old friends, new friends, colleagues, acquaintances, John's former patients, Shawano Community members - and really anyone who wants to come out, enjoy some friendly competition and have a good time!!!
