The 1st Annual "I Put On For My City" Clarksdale Celebrity Basketball Game

October 13, 2018 | Coahoma Community College Pinnacle | Doors open at 4pm | Game starts at 5pm

Get your tickets to attend a fun-filled event with some of the biggest stars in sports and entertainment! Come watch Team Clarksdale face off against Team Coahoma in a battle for control of the city!

Special invited guests include Def Jam recording artist Rick Ross, former Atlanta Falcons player Charles Mitchell, retired NFL players and Clarksdale natives Terrence Metcalf, Mario Haggan, and Trumaine McBride. Confirmed guests include Grammy award-winning producer Blac Elvis, "The Wire" and "New Edition Story" actor and comedian Melvin Jackson, Jr., Miami Heat champion Earl Barron, Memphis rapper and Mo'Faces signee Y.K.O.M., former Ole Miss Rebels and Cincinnati Bengals player Shay Hodges, rapper SQ Lac, and Bad Azz Syndicate artist OG Dre. Players include Memphis promoter Rico Owens, hometown superstar athletes Tyrell "Winona" Landfair, Cameron Monix Jr., Daryl Moore, and international basketball players Ravern Johnson and Antwyan "Boo" Jones. Other special invited celebrity guests include Lil Boosie, OG Boo Dirty, Moneybagg Yo, comedians K-Way and LaLa, R&B sensation David Correy, and actor and singer Algee Smith.

Halftime performances by special surprise guests. Enjoy a day of fun-filled entertainment for the fans with raffles, competitions, and giveaways. Meet and greets and photo opportunities will be opened to guests and fans immediately following the game.

All proceeds will be donated to local charities and youth outreach programs including the Boys and Girls Club of Clarksdale, the Daye5 Foundation, and Elvis Williams Sr. Foundation. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness for sickle cell disease and empower communities through educational and youth outreach opportunities.
