About Conference

With immense pleasure, Allied Academies would like to invite all the participants from around the world to attend the “19th International Conference on Neurology and Neurological Disorders” which is slated to hold from November 04-05, 2019, in Melbourne, Australia.

The main theme of the conference is “Scientific Quest to Enhance the Fascinating & Mystified Neurons”, which will cover a wide range of critically important topics. Neurology 2019 will focus on the latest research and various tools to treat diseases in a convenient way. This meeting will be the best place to learn about recent research and future aspects of Neurology research and development.

A Neurological disorder is a disorder of the Nervous system, it may also be explained as any structural, electrical or biochemical abnormalities in the spinal cord, brain or any other nerves. This can also result in different kind of symptoms.

There are more than 600 types of Neurological Disorders such as Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, brain tumours, etc. An estimate of about 6.8 million people die every year as a cause of Neurological Disorder.

The Conference Highlights are:

Sessions/Tracks

It is with utmost pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee Members of Neurology 2019 we invite you to the “19th International Conference on Neurology and Neurological Disorders” slated to hold from November 04-05, 2019, in Melbourne, Australia.

The main theme of the conference is “Scientific Quest to Enhance the Fascinating & Mystified Neurons”, which will cover a wide range of critically important topics.

Track 01: Neurology

Neurology comes under a branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, functions and organic disorders of the Nervous System or any other Nerve. Neurology deals with diagnosis and treatment of all the diseases involving the central and peripheral nervous system.

Track 02: Autonomic Neurology

Autonomic Neurology comes under a branch of Neurology dealing with the study of involuntary actions of the body and the Nervous System. Autonomic Neurology includes treatment of neurons which effects heartbeat, widening or narrowing of blood vessels, Shallowing, etc. Progressive degeneration of the Autonomic Nervous system Neuron results in different types of disorders.

Track 03: Behavioural Neurology

Behavioural Neurology comes under a branch of Neurology dealing with the study of evaluation, treatment, and management of patients suffering from altered behavior due to
brain disorder. Some of the disorders occur because of brain damage or psychological trauma. This disorder can alter the remembrance power and thinking ability.

Track 04: Neurological Disorders

The major cause of Neurological Disorders is the progressive loss of structure and function of Neurons. It can also cause the death of Neurons. Neurological Disorders may cause diseases like Parkinson’s, ALS, Huntington’s, etc. Many pieces of research are going on but these diseases are incurable. It advances to degeneration or death of Nerve cells. This deterioration causes the cognitive behavior and other clinical features.

Track 05: Neurodegenerative Disorder

In Neurodegenerative disorder, Neurodegeneration or Neuron death is the progressive loss of structure and function of the Neurons which includes disorders like Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, etc. In the United States, about 60,000 cases of Parkinson's disease are diagnosed per year.

Track 06: Clinical Neurophysiology or Physiology

Neurophysiology is a branch of Science where the brain function is studied using bioelectric activity, it may be spontaneous or stimulated. It covers the pathophysiology and clinical methods to diagnose diseases in CNS and PNS. The branch helps us to diagnose the intensity of brain damage precisely.

Track 07: Cognitive Neurology

Cognitive Neurology is the study of Neuroscience, Psychology and a part of psychiatry. All the branches overlap in Cognitive Neurology. Its study focuses on neural substrates of mental processes and their behavioral manifestations.

Track 08: Computational Neurology

Computational Neurology is the study of brain and its functions using information processing structures that make up the Nervous System. It comprises the use of computer simulations and theoretical models to study the functions of the brain and the Nervous system.

Track 09: Geriatric Neurology

It is a branch of Neurology that deals with the diagnosis, medication and treatment of Neurological conditions prevailing due to the effect of aged condition. It also covers specialization monitoring of aging central nervous system and its vulnerable effects due to certain Neurological disorders. This Neurology study also includes dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and gait disorders and the effects of medication in the nervous system.

Track 10: Neural Development

Neural Development or Developmental Neuroscience is the study of the process that generate, shape and reshape the Nervous system and seeks to describe the cellular basis of Neural development to address underlying mechanism.

Track 11: Neurogenetics

Neurogenetics is the branch of science which combines Genetics and Neurology. It is the study of the development and function of the Nervous system as well as the role played by genes in its development. A wide range of disorders and diseases can be determined by Neurogenetics.

Track 12: Neural Engineering

Neural Engineering is used to understand repair, replace, enhance or otherwise exploit the properties of Neural System by using various biomedical engineering or bio-engineering techniques. Neural engineers are able to solve design problems at the interface of living tissue or nonliving structure.

Track 13: Neuroimaging

It may also be referred as Brain Imaging and is used for various techniques to either directly or indirectly image the structure, function of the nervous system. It is a relatively new discipline within neuroscience. Physicians who perform neuroimaging are called neuroradiologists. Neuroimaging has two broad categories structural imaging and functional imaging.

Track 14: Neuroimmunology

It is the field which combines neuroscience and immunology, that is the study of the nervous system and the study of the immune system respectively. Neuroimmunologists better understand the interactions of these two complex systems. The goal of Neuroimmunology research is to develop our understanding of the pathology of certain neurological diseases with no clear etiology. Neuroimmunology contributes to the development of new pharmacological treatments for several neurological conditions.

Track 15: Neurosurgery

Neurosurgery refers to any surgery performed in the brain or the spinal cord.

Track 16: Neuropsychiatry

Neuropsychiatry is the branch of medicine that concerns with mental disorders caused because of disorders in the nervous system. It includes both Neurology and psychiatry. It is also closely related to the field of Neuropsychology and behavioral neurology.

Track 17: Neuro Oncology

Neuro oncology is related to the study of cancers in the brain and the spinal cord. Cancers in the Nervous system are often serious and are life threatening. In some cases, survival is extended using chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Track 18: Pediatric Neurology

Pediatric Neurology refers to the study of management and diagnosis of neurological conditions in children, Neonates, and adolescents.

Track 19: Central Nervous System

Central Nervous system disorders may occur on their own or due to disorders that damage autonomic nerves. CNS disorder can be either myelopathy or encephalopathy.

Track 20: Neurological Nursing

It deals with the assessment of various Neurological Diseases. Neurological Nursing professionals assist patients with nervous system and brain disorders. Some of their responsibilities are administering medication, monitoring, consulting, etc.

Track 21: Recent Research and Case Studies

This track covers the recent research in the field of Neurological studies. The innovative approach to diagnosing or cure the neurological disorder.
