Registration is now open for the 19th Employment Supports Symposium: NOW Is the Time to Make Employment Happen!

...and is proving, yet again, to be a dynamic and must-attend event!

Join us for an individual day or for the entire Symposium. We look forward to seeing you.

Pre-Symposium (May 21st) is being held at the DBHIDS Conference Center - 801 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19107 **Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided**

The full Symposium (May 22nd & 23rd) will be held at Convene Cira Center - 2929 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 19104 **Continental breakfast will be provided for each day. Lunch is provided on Day 2 (May 23rd). Lunch is on your own for Day 1 (May 22nd).**




Who should attend? Everyone!

This Symposium is for all those interested in supporting people with disabilities in finding and maintaining paid employment, and advancing the values and vision of Employment 1st! This includes employers, job coaches, employment specialists, people with disabilities, family members, administrators, and Supports Coordinators / case management staff across all disabilities, and interested others!

Further information...

  • Continental breakfast will be provided each day. Lunch will be provided for the pre-symposium day as well as Day 2 of the Symposium. Lunch is on your own for Day 1 (5/22/19). There are a large variety of nearby and affordable eateries to entice your tastebuds!

  • The pre-symposium day will run from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Doors open at 9:00 a.m.

  • Day 1 of the Symposium on 5/22/19 will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Cocktail reception & "Painting with a Twist" is from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

  • Day 2 of the Symposium on 5/23/19 will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

  • A limited number of scholarships are available. Please inquire for further details.

Cancellations made in writing (email) within 7 business days of the scheduled training will receive a full refund of the event cost.

To cancel, please contact the designated contact person for the specific event.
Cancellations made after this window of time are not eligible for a refund, however you can send another person in your place.

Networks reserves the right to cancel a training session / series. In the unlikely event that your training course is cancelled after you have received your registration confirmation, we will make every effort to reschedule the training session / series and will be in touch with you within 30 days of the cancellation to offer an alternative date to attend. If you are not able to attend the rescheduled date, a full refund will be provided of the event cost.
