Annual MLK Observance sponsored by Silverton People for Peace and Silverton Grange

About this event

Join us for the 19th Annual MLK Observance. Grab a cozy southern inspired meal and tune in to hear the keynote speaker, Ahjamu Umi, Author and Labor Activist with speech titled: "Does American Identity = White Supremacy?" Also a novelist and nonfiction writer, Umi has conducted anti-racism workshops for over ten years.

After registering, a confirmation e-mail with the zoom link will be e-mailed to you.

Donations will be split between Ahjamu Umi and Silverton Grange.

You can support Ahjamu’s work by buying his book, "A guide for Organizing Defense against White Supremacist, Patriarchal, and Fascist Violence."
