Special Considerations
The festival takes place in the mountains at an elevation of 6800 feet. The event is spread out over a large area and requires a lot of walking. Make sure you are prepared for a warm day outdoors and plenty of walking. The festival takes place on a working farm in a rural setting - there are uneven and unpaved walking surfaces.
- Wear good walking shoes
- Hydrate...it can get hot!
- Wagons are useful for carrying all the items you may purchase such as cherries, pies, and cider
- We will have chairs and tables available but you can bring your own chairs if you want make sure you have seating
- Strollers with off-road wheels are recommended. Regular stroller wheels do not do well on our terrain
- A free shuttle is available to take you from the parking lot to the top of the festival grounds and back to the parking lot
