Art in the Air Camp, Week 4: Ages 10-13 (July 27-31)
Get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and unleash your creativity at Art in the Air summer camp at Confluence Park!
Art in the Air Camp for ages 10-13
This camp invites young artists to explore the world of birds, bugs, and bats through creative, hands-on projects inspired by the flying and fluttering creatures around us. Campers will work with drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media to observe, imagine, and create artworks based on real animals and their habitats.
Each day combines outdoor observation, nature-based storytelling, and guided artmaking. The goal is to help children build foundational art skills while also developing curiosity, respect, and appreciation for the natural world.
Community partners play a key role by sharing their expertise, introducing campers to local wildlife, ecosystems, or conservation concepts that inform and inspire the day’s art activities. These partner-led experiences help connect scientific knowledge with creative expression, making learning engaging, accessible, and memorable for kids.
