Do I need any pottery experience to join?

Not at all! Pottery Club is perfect for complete beginners !  If you’ve worked with clay before, it's the perfect time to get stuck in to a project you always wanted to try!

What’s included in the session?

Your £25 ticket covers 2 hours in the studio, clay, and tools. We then clear glaze it and fire it for a second time after which it's ready to collect!

Question 3

What if I want to paint my piece?

If you want to paint your piece, let us know and we'll have it ready for you to book back in after 3/4 weeks!

Question 4

Is there a tutor to help me?

Accepted Answer

Yes—while the session is self-led, a studio tutor will be on hand to offer guidance and answer any questions along the way.

Question 5

Can I bring food or drinks?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Pottery Club is BYOB—just bring your favourite drink (and a cup). Snacks such as sweeties or crisps are fine, just avoid anything  greasy that might stain the tables!

Question 6

What happens to my piece after class?

Accepted Answer

We’ll fire and glaze your work clear, unless you book a glazing session to decorate it yourself. Finished pieces are ready in about 3–4 weeks.

Question 7

How do I collect my pottery?

Accepted Answer

Collection times are:  Tuesday 10.30am - 2pm, 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month 6-9pm, Thursday 10.30am - 4pm. If these times don't suit, please contact us to arrange an alternative!

Question 8

What if I can’t collect my pottery right away?

Accepted Answer

No problem! We’ll keep finished work for 2 months after contacting you, so there’s plenty of time to pick it up.
