Join us for a special evening of music performed by students and faculty of Bronx School For Music.

We're delighted to invite our community members, friends, and family to our 2nd annual Winter Recital. This joyous holiday event features our 50+ children's choir, a performance by the Prelude Prep Snowflake chorus, and faculty and student performances from our private lesson studios.


Program:

Select BSM students will perform solo works by Bach, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Mozart and more!

Piano Sonata No. 16 in C Major, K. 545, “Sonata facile” arranged by Edvard Grieg for two pianos, performed by Aspect Music Foundation Scholar Jason Afovi and BSM Founder Philip Kwoka.

Selections from the Nutcracker Suite for Two Pianos, performed by piano faculty Alina Nenasheva and Josue Nunez.

Romance and Waltz from Rachmaninoff’s Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos, performed by piano faculty Philip Kwoka and Viona Sanjaya.

Finale - BSM Student Choir performing selections of Holiday music, with a special performance of Peace, Peace & Silent Night arranged by Rick & Sylvia Powell.
