The Town of Unicoi Strawberry Festival is a celebration of family, friends and community spirit. The festival is coordinated and sponsored by the Town of Unicoi and is held on the field at the Unicoi Elementary School (404 Massachusetts Avenue Unicoi, Tennessee). The Festival will be held Saturday, May 16, from 10am to 5pm. Food for all tastes, musical entertainment, special events, and quality arts and crafts blend to create an exceptional atmosphere for artists to exhibit and sell their work.

Booth spaces are earmarked for handmade craft vendors and non-profit food vendors. Commercial vendors will be permitted only at the discretion of festival coordinators and will be charged a higher booth rate (see explanation under Rate Increase section below). Any booth selling items that are not handmade will fall into the "Retail Vendor" category. Non-profits must have proper documentation to qualify for the lower-priced booth space.

Each booth is 12' wide and 12' deep. The corners of each booth will be marked in paint. It is important that these boundaries be observed to respect neighbors' rental spaces.

Our office will contact you via email or telephone only if your application has been rejected. To determine your booth number please refer to the Town of Unicoi Facebook page or Website the week of the event.

In previous years, the rules have required that vendors other than non-profits donate 30 percent of their proceeds to a non-profit of their choice. This added multiple steps to the application process and required follow-up verification on the part of festival staff.

To simplify and streamline the festival application process, an increase in booth spaces for vendors other than non-profits has been applied (see prices above). The additional monies received through these new rates will be donated to four local charities within Unicoi County. This new price does away with the requirement to donate 30 percent of sales to a non-profit.

For the convenience of registering online, additional processing fees will apply at checkout. These fees go to pay for the Eventbrite platform and will not be received by the festival. If you prefer to avoid these fees altogether, you may download an application from unicoitn.net/events and either mail it to the Town of Unicoi or drop it off in person at the Unicoi Tourist Information Center.
