1:15-2.45 PM Build your own Omeka exhibit! --Liza Talbot
Build your own Omeka exhibit! Bring your own laptop, please, and 20 or so digital objects of any kind (photos, video or sound files, pdfs, documents, or all of the above--a variety will be the most fun to play with) and a .csv file with any metadata you may have (if you don't have any, that's OK, too).
3:00-4:30 PM Build your own Omeka exhibit cont'd.
Finish our exhibits, if we need more time, and then we'll discuss them. What did you like? What did you want to do that you couldn't do? We'll look at some examples of "stretched" Omekae, where institutions have modified the platform to make it suit their needs, and what kinds of skills you need to do this.
