About the film

Cemal, a struggling astronaut in the German aerospace program, receives a phone call from his father asking to take his brother Kenan, a wannabe actor who makes ends meet with trivial voiceover work, and sister Suzan, a teacher on the verge of divorcing from her self-absorbed husband, to their native village in Turkey. The three estranged siblings reunite in Istanbul and start a journey that will make them rediscover long lost familial bonds and come to terms with their traumatic past. They will not only bury their father, but also finally deal together with the deeply repressed pain the suicide of their mothers caused them when they were children, affecting their lives ever since.
