Paint Your Pet!
Event Information
About this event
We invite you to join us on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 for an in-purrson paint your pet class at Levante Stables. Not only will you be bringing home a beautiful pop-art portrait of your pet (that you personalized and painted yourself) but you'll be raising significant funds for the animals at Main Line Animal Rescue!
Please note that there will be a food truck at this event, and Levante Stables does not allow outside food and beverages!!! If for some reason the food truck cancels, I will send out an email letting you know it is ok to bring something for yourself to eat.
Tickets are required to attend this event! Please read all of the information below.
So, how does it work? Everything you need will be waiting there for you when you arrive. An 8 x 10 canvas, paint & brushes, instruction sheets, etc. We will not have aprons, so please make sure you wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy!
What do we need from you? Just a photo of your cute pet - whether it be a cat, dog, iguana, bunny or fish! You'll need to email us a photo of your pet upon registration, which should be emailed to mfox@pspca.org.
You will have until Wednesday, August 4 to send us your photo so that we have enough time to prepare. If you do not submit your photo by that time you may be issued a refund.
*** Keep in mind: brightly lit/clear photos will give you the best chance for a beautiful portrait!
When you submit your photo, please include 4 color choices that you would like to paint your pop art portrait with. For example; purple, blue, green & orange or teal, green, yellow, & pink. Whatever color combo you can think of!
While guests of all ages are welcome to attend, Levante Stables asks that you leave all pets at home. Outside food and beverage is not permitted on the property, but there will be a food truck there the night of.
What is Main Line Animal Rescue? MLAR is a beautiful and historic 60 acre animal shelter located on Pickering Meade Farm. It falls right in the middle of Chester Springs and Phoenixville, PA.
Who is Dawn Toussaint? Dawn is a local artist and animal advocate who will be your pet portrait guide during the event. Dawn adopted her pup, Paxton, from us last year! Please check out her art and online store at www.dawntoussaint.com
Please be courteous of Levante Stable's 9 pm closing time.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email mfox@pspca.org
