What time does it start?

The event starts at 11am, and finishes at 4pm, on both the Saturday and the Sunday. Final entry is at 3pm each day.

Does everyone attending need a ticket?

Adults and children aged 3+ will need a ticket each. Children under 3 can enter for free!

How many pumpkins can I take away?

Accepted Answer

The pumpkin patch is one pumpkin per ticket. When you arrive, you will be given a sticker per ticket, which equals a sticker per pumpkin. Please do not try and take more pumpkins than you have tickets/stickers, as we do not want to run out for those coming later in the day who have booked!

Dogs on leads are very welcome in the outside areas of the event.

What nearby public transport is there?

Prittlewell Train Station is a 10 minute walk from the priory. There are numerous buses that stop just outside the park including 9, 9A, 815, 816, X30. Further along Victoria Avenue there are also stops at the Civic Centre for buses 3, 7, 8, 20, 21, 21A, 25 and 29.

Yes, there are toilets in the Priory Visitor Centre, including fully accessible facilities.

Is there baby changing on site?

Yes, there is a baby changing facility in the Priory Vistor Centre.

Is there wheelchair access?

Accepted Answer

The pumpkin patch will be on the lawn behind Prittlewell Priory, and the children's activities will be held both on the lawn and throughout the ground floor of the priory, which is all accessible without any steps.

Do I need to bring my printed ticket?

No, we accept both printed tickets and tickets displayed on phones.

Is there on site parking?

Accepted Answer

Parking on site in the Priory Park Car Park is extremely limited, and not recommended. We advise traveling via public transport, cycling or walking wherever possible. The nearest public car parks are Civic Centre North Car Park, APCOA Parking, North Road Car Park or The Victoria Car Park.

Once booked, can I change the time or day of the visit or have my ticket refunded?

Accepted Answer

No, unfortunately we are unable to change the date or time of the visit once booked. To avoid any disappointment, we would ask that before completing the purchase of tickets you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking.
Tickets are non-refundable.
