Event description

Description

The video synthesizer produces colorful oscilloscope-style patterns on a television or projector. It displays the waveform of the audio input. It works particularly well with a single sound source like synthesizer, voice, or other instrument, though it will respond to a complete song or similarly complex sound. Conducted by Andreas Siagian of hacker-diy art collective, Lifepatch from Indonesia. You may have heard of their uber popular 8-Bit Mixtape mini-synth! This time it’s a video synth!

NO PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE ON ELECTRONICS OR SYNTH BUILDING REQUIRED! Our facilitator will guide participants step-by-step. You get to keep your instrument and participate in a mini-jam after with the participants of the DIY SYNTH WORKSHOP!
