April 10, 2020

Dear Friends of Washington Beer,

We hope you’re staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented time. Under the current federal and state “stay at home” regulations, the Washington Beer Commission has had to make some difficult decisions regarding its craft beer tasting festivals you all know and love.

Today we announce the postponement of the 15th Annual Washington Brewers Festival, which was scheduled for June 19-21, 2020 at King County's Marymoor Park. This annual celebration of Washington brewed craft beer on Father's Day weekend is a time honored tradition for thousands and we are looking into the possibility of producing a like event at a later date this summer (August/September).

For those that have purchased a ticket(s) to this year's event we will be sending you an email with instructions for a full refund. You will also have the option of retaining the ticket(s) for the potential postponed event or entry to any day of the June 18-20, 2021 event.

While the physical distancing orders remain in effect, we have been working with the Washington Beer Blog to keep you connected with your favorite local breweries. We encourage you to visit
washingtonbeerblog for frequently updated pickup hours and online ordering links, to help keep your local brewery operating. You can also visit many of your favorite brewery’s websites and support them by purchasing gift cards and branded merchandise that may also assist them in keeping their doors open and the beer flowing.

We greatly appreciate your continued support of the Washington state craft beer industry as we all face this unprecedented challenge. Please stay "safe at home" and continue to enjoy Washington Beer responsibly.
