THE 15TH ANNUAL FREEDOM NETWORK ANTI-TRAFFICKING CONFERENCE:
Envisioning New Approaches in Anti-Trafficking Work

This conference will work to redefine the concept to justice by addressing how inequalities and injustices can create vulnerabilities to human trafficking and continue to disadvantage trafficking survivors. Sessions will explore justice in the context of prevention efforts, client-centered service provision, and engaged criminal and civil justice systems.
Presentations and workshops are led by experts on human trafficking issues and are geared toward academics, advocates, community organizers, government officials, law enforcement officers, attorneys, prosecutors, social service providers, and other stakeholders; including those who are new to the anti-trafficking field and those with years of experience.

Freedom Network Training Institute (FNTI) will be hosting a pre-conference training on April 4th from 1pm - 6pm. This half-day training will allow professionals who are new to anti-trafficking work to explore foundational concepts prior to engaging in the more advanced conference workshops. There is an additional cost to attend this training.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are being pursued from the National Association Social Workers (NASW). If you would like to receive credits, please choose to add it to your order at the bottom of the order form. The cost is an additional $25.00.

Each year, the Freedom Network USA recognizes an individual who has made a unique contribution to the anti-trafficking field in the United States or demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication in working to combat human trafficking in the US.
The event will take place onsite on the 14th Floor. Join us for networking and complimentary hor d'oeuvres. A cash bar will be available.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from the DCA airport. More details on the shuttle service and other transportation options can be found here.
What are the fees associated with my registration?
The fees are not being charged by Freedom Network USA. Eventbrite charges a fee to use the service and there is a credit card processing fee based on the percentage of all orders.
What if I need to pay by check?
Freedom Network USA will not accept checks as a form of payment as in the past. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have questions about this policy, please contact Melinda at firstname.lastname@example.org

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes. Once logged in, click the My Tickets tab at the top of the page (you may be directed here automatically). Then click View Order below the name of the event for which you'd like to transfer your ticket.
Click Edit and enter in the name and email address of the person to whom you want to transfer your ticket, and click Save. Please note that tickets will not be transferrable the day of the event for another attendee. Prior arrangements must be made using the instructions above.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. You will just need ID to check in prior to the event.
What is the refund policy?
All refunds must be completed by Friday, March 10, 2017. If you are unable to attend and would like a full refund, please log in to your account and click on the Request Refund link or email firstname.lastname@example.org. After the deadline, we cannot guarantee reimbursement. Requests will be handled on a case by case basis. We do not offer partial refunds or partial tickets for one day attendance.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No, if you are giving your ticket to another person, you must transfer the ticket online. See Question 3.
