The annual feeney/winthrop benefit concerts for St. Joseph the Worker began in 2008. These concerts have raised more than $500,000 for SJW's good work. Contributions to SJW qualify for an Arizona tax credit up to $400 if you are filing independently and up to $800 if you are filing jointly. SJW's mission over the past 34 years has been to connect disadvantaged, homeless, and transitioning individuals to quality jobs. SJW 's employment services help thousands of people secure quality employment each year. SJW removes employment barriers by providing interview clothing, transportation, resume assistance, and interview help. The only thing SJW's clients need is a willingness to work. SJW connects people directly to quality jobs rather than to workshops and trainings. SJW has relationships with dozens of employers to ensure more opportunities for livable wages, health insurance, and career advancement. Importantly, SJW 's program is based on the individual needs of each client. There are no cookie-cutter programs.
