Featuring an Interfaith Panel and Interfaith Service of Healing and Forgiveness

Keynote Speaker:

 Rev. Paul B. Raushenbush

Rev. Paul B. Raushenbush currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Public Engagement at Auburn Seminary.  He launched and built HuffPost Religion to the highest ranked religion and spirituality website.  He was the Associate Dean of Religious Life and the Chapel at Princeton University from 2003—2011.  An adept public speaker, he is a repeated guest on CNN, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, Al Jazeera, and BBC.   In the wake of so many national tragedies, how do we build community resilience? Join us as we engage in this crucial dialogue.

Guest Speakers:

Pastors of St. Andews AME Church

Rev. Dr. Bryon C. Moore has a diverse background which has marvelously prepared him to serve the needs of our community! During his most recent pastorate at Vernon Chapel AME Church in Flint, MI, his community activism and social justice emphasis provided pivotal, vocal and visible leadership around the grave issue of the contamination of the city’s water supply by lead. Rev. Moore has garnered multiple awards for community service and leadership, the Richard Allen Award for service and activism, and has been honored as Pastor of the Year by the (AME) Michigan Annual Conference Lay Organization.

Pastor Moore is joyfully married to Rev. Sharon D. Moore, also an ordained Itinerant Elder in the AME Church. Rev. Sharon founded their previous church’s women’s ministry, E.A.G.L.E.S. - cultivating women’s individual spiritual lives through regular enrichment sessions, retreats, group sessions and worship services; equipping women for mental, emotional, physical, and financial development and prosperity.

(Bio from St. Andews AME website)

The conference is FREE, but space is limited to the first 300 registrants. Deadline to register is October 13, 2016. Registration includes a continental breakfast and a box lunch.
