Event description

Description

In 2019 our parish celebrates its 150th Anniversary. As part of our ongoing festivities we will present a five part lecture series featuring some of the most engaging speakers in the field of religion and spirituality. We begin our series on October 11th with a panel of spiritual leaders who will address Discernment and speak to the ways in which they have answered God's call to discipleship. The remaining talks in the series take place on: 2) October 18th - Being Black and Catholic; 3) October 25th - Health and Wholyness; 4) November 1st - Prayer and Social Action; and 5) November 8th - Mary and the Art of Prayer. All lectures are free and open to the public. Please join us for beverages and hors d'oeuvres before each lecture begins. We look forward to seeing you at the talks!
