Event Information
Description
1.4) World Cafe and Breakouts is part of a two-day online conference on sustainability and finance.
Stephen Snider, Masters in Development Practices, Harvard University
Oliver Braunschweig, PhD Researcher, The New School
The last session of the first day will be a moment to reflect on the discussions so far and get to know your peers a bit better. There will be smaller breakout groups on different topics, including for networking. This session will also introduce the organizer (oikos International), and we will go over tomorrow’s session. One of the breakout groups will be for students who want to become active in planning events like these.
And for after this session: if you are in Boston, we will go for a drink together to continue the conversation in person. See this event: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/96765964605
You can either sign up only for individual events or for the whole set of events. Please find the main event and links to all of the individual sessions here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/96756825269

Organizer oikos Boston - Harvard
Organizer of 1.4) World Cafe and Breakouts - Reflection and Networking [oiConference: Developments in Sustainability and Finance]
oikos Boston - Harvard is the organizer of an event series focused on Sustainability in Finance and Investment. It is organized by students from Harvard and activists of oikos international.
We hope that this event series will inspire students and professionals alike to organize, learn, and become active in the field of finance. Finance is a tool that can be used to develop a more sustainable future, combat climate change, preserve biodiversity, and invest in what is good for people and the planet.
oikos Boston - Harvard is also engaged in building a more physical presence on Harvard campus. Becoming an active chapter of oikos international is the goal.
