Agile on the Green was started in 2004 by Tricia Dempsey, an fourteen-year breast cancer survivor and the President of Agile, an innovative IT staffing and consulting firm. Both professionally and personally, Tricia is known for her ability to connect people and give back. Agile on the Green brings together the IT and Breast Cancer communities to play Topgolf in a relaxed setting that fosters networking and fun!
Anyone can play Topgolf, from aspiring pros to those who've never walked 18 holes. All you have to do is swing a club and try to hit your micro chipped balls into dartboard like targets. Topgolf is hosted in a state-of-the-art venue in Alpharetta and allows for more networking and interaction – rain or shine.
It's competitive, it's fun and it's for a great cause – net proceeds from the event benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta. In 2014-2015, Komen Atlanta funded $1.56 million in breast health programs throughout metro Atlanta to provide life-saving breast screenings, diagnostic testing and treatment support to those who cannot afford these services. These funds served over 9,500 people and included 5,000+ breast cancer screenings, 2,600+ diagnostic services, 125+ legal services , 350+ survivor support services, and ultimately helped diagnose 73 breast cancers. Since its inception in 2004, Agile on the Green has raised over $290,000 for Susan G. Komen - Greater Atlanta.
