Event Information
About this Event
The Bemidji Symphony Orchestra is pleased to recognize today's concert sponsor:
Thank you so much, First National Bank Bemidji, for your support of the BSO and the performing arts in north central Minnesota.
This all-Copland concert features Appalachian Spring and includes commentary from portrayers of Aaron Copland and choreographer Martha Graham, who collaborated to create this enduring American classic. Also on the program of this fifth concert of the BSO's 82nd season are "Hoe Down" from Copland’s ballet Rodeo and Quiet City.
PLEASE NOTE: All tickets must be purchased in advance and can be picked up at the door. No tickets, however, will be sold at the door. All attendees must have a ticket. We regret that conditions do not allow us to offer free tickets for children attending this concert.
The BSO is adhering to safety guidelines provided by the Minnesota Department of Health. To provide a safe environment, seating will be physically distanced, the audience will be seated at least 12 feet from the stage, and each attendee is required to bring and wear her/his own face mask.
The Bluebelle Event Venue is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Bemidji (Paul & Babe). It is located on the east side of County 9 (Cardinal Rd.) about six miles north of U.S. Hwy 2. Please allow a little extra time to arrive at the Bluebelle Event Center.
