The Washington Beer Commission's 12th Annual Belgian Fest will take place at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion on February 5th.

About this event

After a year's hiatus, The Washington Beer Commission's 12th Annual Belgian Fest will take place at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion highlighting Belgian-style beers and other kettle sour creations crafted by Washington breweries. Featured beer styles include Tripels, Dubbels, Saisons, Wits, Abbeys, Lambics and other Kettle Sour beers.

Saturday, February 5th, 2022-Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center

305 Harrison St-Seattle, WA 98109

Noon-6 PM.

Tickets are $40 online. $45 at the door. Admission includes a tasting glass and 10 tastes. Each taste is 4 oz.

$5 designated driver admission is available at the door. Designated driver includes soda and/or water.

Age 21+ only. No dogs.

Covid-19 Health and Safety Guidelines:

Per King County Health Order, All guests, staff and volunteers inside the festival must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19. We are following King County guidelines. Proof of vaccination can include your vaccination card, a printed copy of your vaccination card, or photo of your vaccination card on your phone or phone app.

A negative covid test within 72 hours of the event will also be accepted. For details about acceptable tests click here. At home rapid tests will not be accepted.

Other Safety Precautions:

Event capacity will be limited to about 75%.

Masks are required at the festival per King County Order. Protective masks must be worn at all times when not drinking/eating. Masks must cover both nose and mouth.

This is mostly an indoor event, but the venue has high ceilings. We will also be cracking roll doors to increase air circulation as the weather permits.

Additional hand washing and hand santizer will be available througout the event.

FOOD 

A great selection of food & snacks will be available to purchase from local food vendors inside and outside Fisher Pavilion. List coming soon.

DIRECTIONS

The Washington Beer Commission encourages you to designate a driver, use a ride share or take public transportation to Belgian Fest.

VOLUNTEER!

We are looking for volunteers to help out with beer pouring, registration, and WABL at Belgian Fest on Saturday, February 5th. If you’re interested in volunteering, please email us with your 1st and 2nd shift preferences. Volunteer shifts are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Volunteers receive admission to the event upon completion of their shift. 2nd session volunteers also receive admission to a future Washington Beer Commission event.

1st Shift: 10:00 AM-1:30PM  

2nd Shift:  1:00 PM-4:30 PM

Organizer of 12th Annual Belgian Fest

The Washington Beer Commission was ratified by the Washington State Legislature on September 6, 2006 as an Agricultural Commodity Commission, becoming the first commodity commission for craft beer in the U.S.Through RCW 15.89 the state granted the commission the opportunity to produce up to 12 beer tasting festivals per year and to use the proceeds to promote and market Washington’s craft breweries. An assessment of ten cents per barrel produced by each brewery (with a cap assessment of $1,000) was also a part of the legislation. Washington state now boasts 420+ breweries and is still the only state in the nation with a beer commission.
