Description

Kids Day Out is an event just for our military kids to acknowledge the many responsibilities they bear for being part of a National Guard family and that life as a Guard child isn’t always easy; especially when they’re expected to cooperate, adjust and endure extended training and deployments.

** VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ~ PARENTS WELCOME **


R E G I S T R A T I O N ~

1) Red Cross Teen Babysitting Class.

2) Various authorization statements must be signed by Guard parent.

3) Provide child's Tee Shirt size at registration (S) (M) (L)

8:00 am Breakfast (Self-serve in Kitchen. Microwave available.)

9:00 am Opening Ceremony: Honor Guard, National Athem, Pledge of Allegiance

9:30 am Morning Session: Ice-breakers, networking and resilience building exercises

12:00 pm BBQ Lunch Served by First Sergeants Council

1:00 pm Afternoon Session: Military-themed activities

FAQs

Is there a minimum age requirement to enter the event?

School Age kids as young as 6. However, we know that families may have multiple children of various ages. You are welcome to bring your younger children (under 6) and sit indoors with them as long as you are supervising your own children and observing safety precautions.

What can I bring into the event?

Except for preparing their own meal and attending a mini-workshop inside the building, most activities are outside, so take precaution against the sun and heat (hats, sunscreen, insect repellant, personal snacks as applicable).
