Event description
The Self-Reflection and Grief Workshop discusses the grieving process as an element of self-care for social workers and other professionals.

About this Event

WORKSHOP: Where did you learn how to grieve? Were you taught to express or suppress your grief? How was grieving modeled to you? Social workers and other human service professionals are at the forefront of providing services and exposed to multiple losses throughout their careers. These losses may result in grief reactions [an emotional and physical response to the separation from a person, place, situation, or object of significance]. The Self-Reflection and Grief Workshop provides a unique perspective on the grieving process as an important element of self-care. As essential professionals, it is important to take time to allow ourselves to grieve as a part of self-care so we can be at our best for others.

WHERE: This workshop will take place virtually, via Zoom. The access link will be emailed to registrants 24 hours prior to the workshop date via the email address provided at time of registration.

WHEN: Wednesday, December 16th from 6-7:30pm (EST)

COST: Donations Only

TOPICS: During The Self-Reflection and Grief Workshop, topics of discussion will include:
