12/2 – Foundational Series for Line Staff: Introduction to Child & Youth Development
In this foundational workshop, participants will learn about the stages of child and youth development to gain a broader understanding of the needs of children and youth. Participants will also engage in activities that support the healthy development of children and youth and will learn how to plan and integrate activities that support various developmental levels and stages.
SACC Training Topics Satisfied: (1) Principles of childhood development, including the appropriate supervision of children, meeting the needs of children enrolled in the program with physical or emotional challenges and behavior management and discipline; (3) Child day care program development
