Prison Yoga Chicago and Hardware CrossFit invite members of the CCDOC, CPD, CFD, and other first-responders to take some time to focus inward and let go of stress with Sunday Yoga.
The class will be a 60-minute full body stretch for all levels (beginners through advanced practitioners) designed to improve flexibility & increase muscle mobility. We’ll move through a customized series of yoga-based postures targeting soft tissues with the intent of enhancing functionality in a performance environment.
Class will begin with some basic heating postures to warm up the body, followed by 50 minutes of deep stretching covering all major muscle groups with a focus on alignment and safety. We will emphasize breathing to bring awareness to your muscles and joints.
