120-Hour Child Development Associate (CDA) Course - ONLINE

Description
The CDA is a national early care and education credential awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington, DC. The CDA Training Program is designed for teachers and caregivers of children ages 0-5 who work in licensed childcare centers and registered family childcare homes preparing them for assessment.
The 120-hour CDA Course will be fully online. Each participant will be subscribed to an online student account with 24-hour access to their course to conduct work at their leisure.
Includes:
- 120 Hours/12.00 CEUs (valid in every state)
- 1-year unlimited access
- Certificate of Completion
- Early Childhood Training Approval
One day per week for 8 weeks, the trainer will offer a LIVE online session to engage with participants, review a course module, and help with CDA Professional Portfolio requirements for each standard.
The 8 LIVE sessions will be held on Thursdays only—June 11-July 30, 2020 @ 7:00-8:00 PM

Course Fee: $750 (Includes the 8 self-paced online modules AND 8 LIVE online sessions with Dr. Bisa)
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 5, 2020
CDA course participants will be granted access to the self-paced 8-module online course upon scholarship approval or individual payment of $750. The first live session with Dr. Bisa begins June 11.
Early Educators Nationwide:
A number of organizations provide financial assistance for individuals who wish to pursue the CDA Credential. Visit https://www.cdacouncil.org/resources/find-cda-scholarships to locate CDA training scholarships in your state to cover the $750 course fee.
Georgia Early Educators:
Because of the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Bright from the Start has made the following changes to the DECAL Scholars programs to provide additional support to the Early Childhood workforce:
- SCHOLARSHIPS will now aid ECE professionals who would like to take the 120 clock-hour CDA coursework online. SCHOLARHIPS will cover a maximum of $750 towards the cost of a Bright from the Start state approved CDA course. Considering all social-distancing protocols, all courses must be online. In addition, you must register for the course no later than June 30, 2020.
- Interested applicants can find the CDA SCHOLARSHIPS eligibility information and an application on the DECAL Scholars website (https://www.decalscholars.com/pages/schcdaappfees_landing.cfm).
