12 Hour Supplemental Training for Practicing California Visitation Monitors
Family Code 3200.5 requires ALL Professional Supervised Visitation Providers have 24 hours of training, effective January 1, 2013!
This program offers 12 hours of training to current Supervised Visitation Providers
This program is a face-to-face live training that offers role play opportunities to help facilitate experiential learning, as well as reviewing supervised visitation real-world case scenarios. You will also be exposed to other veteran monitors and glean from their experience, all while increasing your knowledge in a fun, interactive environment.
*Included Certificate of Completion (record of attendance of completed hours).
*Real-case scenario news video clips for enhanced safety and security knowledge
*Role-plays, group discussions, exercises
*Saturday morning refreshments will be served. Lunch on your own.
Thursday, February 7th: 4:00pm to 9:00pm &
Saturday, February 9th: 9:00am to 5:00pm

California Court Systems: Family & Juvenile Basic Overview; Scope of Service per 5.20 & Family Code 3200.5 & The Role of the Provider; Safety & Security Protocals; Responsibilities and Obligations; Child Abuse Reporting Laws; Conflict of Interest; Confidentiality; Record Keeping; Report Writing & Documentation; Assessment of Risk Factors & Case Studies; Parental Alienation; Domestic Violence; Psychopathy & Difficult Clients; Child Abduction; Trauma; and Self Care.
