About this event
Start training and planning for the 11th Annual PEAKS to CONGA bicyclists' fundraiser on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
This fun, non-competitive, fully supported ride starts en masse from Cody Coffee Roasters at 7 am and ends 66 miles later in downtown Shell, Wyoming. Ride some or the entire route ... hence the Conga line!
Support vehicles are available along the route with snacks, water and technical assistance as needed. Recommended gear to carry: spare tubes, water bottle, and sunscreen. Helmets are mandatory!
ONLY designated support vehicles are allowed along the ride route to reduce road congestion and increase safety. If you have family or friends interested in helping along the ride, please let us know.
Post-Ride Shellebration: COVID PRECAUTIONS WILL BE FOLLOWED
- Food trucks
- Massage ($1/minute)
- Live outdoor music
- Vendors (cash & check only)
- Free Yoga in the park
- Silent auction and cash bar in the Shell Community Hall
- Outdoor concert by Rattlesnake Ridge at 4 pm
*Bring a change of clothes to throw in one of the SAG vehicles at the start so you can be comfortable and relax after your ride.
**If you want to stay for the day's continued fun and Shellebration, reserve a campsite or room at the Shell Campground ASAP: (307) 765-9924. There are no other accommodations available in Shell!
Return shuttles to Cody will be available again this year and must be reserved by June 5, 2022.
Pay tribute to a friend or family member who has or is battling cancer with a Roadside Tribute Sign. Personalized signs with your custom design will be displayed along the ride route each year. Provide inspiration to our riders and honor a cancer fighter. Cost is $100. Contact Stephanie Weed by June 14 to reserve your sign: sweed@BHRNWY.com or 307.250.9377.
The first 100 registrants are guaranteed a performance longsleeve tee OR (new this year) a custom Peaks to Conga trucker hat and fun swag so don’t delay in registering! Select either the Full Ride Support + Performance Long Sleeve Tee OR Full Ride Support + Custom Trucker Hat in Tickets.

About PEAKS to Conga: ALL funds raised through this event go to PEAKS (People Everywhere Are Kind & Sharing) to Conga that provides short-term funds for gas, groceries, and other non-medical expenses to local cancer patients experiencing financial hardship. Over the past 11 years, PEAKS to Conga has raised more than $200,000 to assist cancer patients from all over the Bighorn Basin. Help us again share that kindness to those in need!
IMPORTANT COVID SAFETY INFORMATION: Peaks to Conga organizers are committed to making this event as safe as possible and we ask for your help to make it a reality so we can continue to do good...and have a great time. Mask, distancing and capacity guidelines will be followed in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There are no minimum age requirements; however, riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver and we recommend younger riders ride within their ability and be accompanied by a supervising adult.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking in Cody is available at Cody Coffee Roasters at the beginning of the ride. One shuttle time is available from Shell back to Cody this year at 1:30 p.m. and you must reserve your spot by June 1 to guarantee your ride (no exceptions). Add this non-refundable shuttle option when you register.
Some people choose to drop a vehicle in Shell the night before the ride for transportation home. Parking is widely available in Shell.
What's the refund policy?
Refunds will be allowed up to seven (7) days prior to the event.
What should I bring for the event?
We recommend riders carry a spare tube, water, snacks, sunscreen, and appropriate clothing layers on their ride. Helmets are mandatory! Snacks, water, and technical assistance will be available along the route. You are welcome to pack a bag with a change of clothes and other necessities to put in one of the SAG vehicles at the start so you can be comfortable and relax after your ride. Bags will be available at the finish line in Shell.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It would be helpful if you bring your printed ticket at least to packet pickup; however, we will have a spreadsheet with information on all registered riders. Be sure to take advantage of the complimentary pre-ride bike check at Joyvagen Cycles, though! Contact Chris at 307-527-0640 to schedule a time to get your bike ready to roll ... registration confirmation will be required.
