Description

Join us on Wednesday October 11th for an interactive working session focused on finding solutions to urban and rural youth unemployment. U.S. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta will deliver the event’s keynote speech first thing in the morning, briefing attendees on the Administration’s plans to implement a nationwide Apprenticeship Initiative and listening to our ideas on youth employment.

Among our confirmed Panelists are:

  • Antonio Tijerino, President, Hispanic Heritage Foundation
  • Dale Erquiaga, President and CEO, Communities in Schools

  • Chris Minnich, Executive Director, Council of Chief State School Officers
  • Kelem Butts, Director, Charitable Operations, AT&T
  • Brandon Busteed, Executive Director, Gallup Education & Workforce Development

With your help, we will use the Secretary’s guidance, and guidance from our distinguished Panelists, speakers and co-hosts, to craft recommendations which will be taken to Governors, Members of Congress, the Administration, Chief Executive Officers of major companies and trade associations, and leaders from foundations and corporations focused on the youth employment issue.

Be sure to RSVP to reserve your role!

We look forward to a productive and thought provoking session.
