About this event
On Saturday, June 18, 2022, Fathers’ Day weekend, the Morehouse College Atlanta Alumni Metro Chapter will host its 11th annual “Honoring Our Fathers” event. At this event, outstanding work done by Atlanta-area men as fathers, mentors, and community builders will be recognized and honored.
This noteworthy event dually serves as our main fundraiser for our “Filling the Gap” Scholarship Fund. Past honorees at this event have included nationally known men such as U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock, former Surgeon General Dr. David Satcher, and former Morehouse College, as well as unsung brothers who make an extraordinary impact within their communities as school teachers, community activists, doctors, attorneys, pastors, politicians, etc.
