Melanie Sharp began her career in show business with the Ice Capades. A career ending injury forced Melanie to switch gears. After giving acting a shot for a couple of years, Melanie found a job as a receptionist at the Jack Rose Talent Agency and discovered she was much better at talking to actors than being one. Melanie spent a year at Jack Rose, (1984/85) and after worked at CED in the children’s department for three years.
After a short stay in the voice over department at ICM, Melanie became a theatrical agent after being mentored by Magi Henderson at Henderson/Hogan. After a five year stint there Melanie was also an agent at Schiowitz Clay Rose, Susan Smith & Associates and was head of the theatrical department at The Agency.
