THE GREEN GIG Locally Grown

Celebrating its 10th year, THE GREEN GIG is an annual locally grown tradition!

With a focus on sustainability, THE GREEN GIG Locally Grown dinner is designed to showcase our region's agricultural and culinary prowess. Now in it's 10th year, the one-of-a-kind dinner provides guests a magical farm-2-fork experience, replete with music, heartwarming stories, and original collaborative artworks created with local artists, unique experiences, and more on auction.

The fun-filled evening will feature ingredients from land and sea transformed into delightfully fresh culinary experience by one of North America's Top Teppanyaki Masters, Celebrity Chef Michael Monzon (Tattoo Mike).

Originally from Seattle, Mike now makes his home on Fox Island with his wife and son. Flinging fire with flair in top teppanyaki restaurants in Seattle, California and Hawaii for over a decade, he has also appeared as a competitor on Chopped and Teppanyaki Takedown, and as a guest chef on the Hallmark Channel's Home & Family series.

Soft drinks and welcome drink included. Wine and beer available for purchase.

Doors open 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds benefit the Stewards Scholarship Fund and the Foundation's work to help bridge the early learning access gap in our community. Since 2012, the Foundation has provided more than $125,000 in support of early childhood education for more than 400 area children by underwriting a portion of tuition costs for every student, and more than $30,000 in additional assistance provided through the scholarship fund. Established in 2013, the fund helps give all children, especially those in greatest need, the strong start they need and deserve.
