Event description

Description

The 10th Annual TEAC Symposium will be an evening on the opioid crisis, with a focus on how it is affecting Philadelphia. We will discuss how the crisis got to where it is now, and where to go from here. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Jeffrey Hom, MD, MPH, who leads the work on the opioid crisis for the Philadelphia Department of Health. They will also hear from Temple’s own Dr. Joseph D’Orazio, MD, the hospital’s toxicologist. There will also be breakout sessions covering addiction medicine and the opportunity to hear from those who are in recovery from opioid addiction. The evening will conclude with a reception with light fare. We hope to see you there!
