DC Craft Bartenders Guild Presents Our 10th Annual Repeal Day Ball

December 9th, 2017

VIP Entry begins at 7:30pm

General Admission begins at 8:30pm

The DC Craft Bartenders Guild and founding members are holding our 10th Annual Repeal Day Ball on December 9th, 2017, celebrating the 84th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition. The over 900 expected attendees will enjoy cocktails crafted by Washington DC’s and the nation’s best bartenders while dancing along to Prohibition-era tunes. This is the inaugural year this black tie affair will be hosted at the historic Andrew C. Mellon Auditorium overlooking the National Mall.

Tickets for this year’s soirée begin at $90, with VIP tickets available for $140. VIP tickets allow guests to kick the party off an hour early as well as grant access to our VIP only champagne room and after party. A portion of this years’ proceeds will go to the Anacostia Watershed Society. They are a local foundation dedicated to protecting and restoring the Anacostia River and its watershed communities by cleaning the water, recovering the shores, and honoring the heritage.

Our perenially successful pop-ups are returning for another year! This year we are thrilled to welcome the team from BlackTail in New York City, the newest acclaimed program from Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon, and Julep in Houston, helmed by the renowned Alba Huerta. BlackTail was recently named "Best New American Cocktail Bar" at the 2017 Spirited Awards at Tales of the Cocktail, and Julep was a Top 10 finalist for the same category in 2015.

As we are celebrating our 10th Repeal Day Ball this year, we will honor the original members of the DC Craft Bartenders Guild in our Founders' Hall, where each will be featuring cocktails. We are grateful for their continued commitment to our community!
