About this event

This year marks our 10th annual “Old Fashioned Cider Tasting” event at the Mill! All proceeds benefit the restoration of the Kimlin Cider Mill c 1880.

Cider tasting of our Kimlin Cider (available at this event only) and showcasing other local Hudson Valley sweet & hard ciders

Commemorative tasting glass with full cider tasting

Behind-the-scene Mill tours

Children’s activities with farm animals from Cedar Crest Farm, corn shelling & crafts

Antique press demonstrations and tasting of pressed cider

Raffles with a wide array of selections from local businesses

Roundabout Ramblers live

Dutchess Dog House food truck

Fishkill Historical Society made to order apple fritters

Historic display by Sports Museum of Dutchess County

Free entry

$15 – hard & sweet ciders, with souvenir tasting glass

$5 – sweet ciders only

$0 – sweet cider for ages 12 and under

Tasting tickets are available at the door, but if you purchase online (link here), you will be entered into an exclusive raffle of a jug of Kimlin Cider! Our small-batch cider is made especially for this event only and is not sold or otherwise available except for tasting.

Lunch, fresh made apple fritters, apple butter, and merchandise available for purchase.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No for sweet (non-alcoholic) ciders.

Yes for hard (alcoholic) ciders, 21+ with identification.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available along the East side of Cedar Avenue, Kimlin Court (just South of the mill), and at the old farmhouse across the street. Parking is first come first serve.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we will have a list of online ticket orders which will be at the entrance to the event.

What is the refund policy?

This event is rain or shine, no refunds will be given. Event is mostly covered by large tent in case of rain.
