Part 2- The Science of Story Building/ Finding Our Stories
Organized by
Florida is one of twelve states participating in the ECCS CoIIN, led by the National Institute for Children’s Health Quality (NICHQ). The Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions, Inc. (FAHSC), the nonprofit organization administering the Florida Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) initiative for the state, is responsible for the oversight and successful implementation of the ECCS Impact grant. The goal of this initiative is to improve the developmental skills of 3-year-old children by 25 percent from current levels by 2021 through the coordination of available services in order to build a system of care that involves health care providers, agencies serving families with children age 0-3, early childhood care providers, and families who reside in the participating communities.
