100th Dinner
JOIN US in a very special celebration of 100 years of the ELLENSBURG RODEO and the Ellensburg ELKS building!
The evening begins at 4:30, sipping bubbly on the rooftop of the Windrow Hotel.
We will then proceed to the ballroom for dinner and our program:
We will announce our 2023 inductees into the Ellensburg Rodeo Hall of Fame!
ERHOF board member, historian and author Mike Allen will be there to talk about updating John Ludka’s 75-year history of the Ellensburg Rodeo to the current 100 years. “Ellensburg Rodeo’s First 100 Years, The Tradition Lives: 1923-2023” will be available for purchase, and Mike will be available to sign your book.
Rory Turner will join us to share his knowledge of the historic Elks building.
Local master saddle maker Janneman Pienaar will tell us his story of creating a replica of the Ellensburg Tree saddle, the saddle that holds an important place in modern-day rodeo. Janneman’s work of art will be raffled off on December 23, 2023, with tickets available at the dinner.
Dancers and singers from the Wanapum band will be there to share some of their beautiful and expressive native dances with us.
This is a once-in-a-centennial celebration you don’t want to miss! Seating is limited, so get your tickets NOW!!!
Remember to wear your cowboy vintage to this dinner!
